RHEMA UK & Ireland Directors
Michele splits her time between being a stay-at-home mother and leading/developing worship teams, teaching, and pastoring. She is passionate about leading people into worship and is an effective minister of the word of God.
Toby has a background in the public sector with a focus on digital, having been involved in management and leadership for the past 25 years, he is currently a board director for a mental health organisation and has an MSc in Leadership as well as a PGDip in Digital Healthcare Leadership.
Even so, his heart is clearly in ministry having served in helps ministry since about 1990 and has been preaching/teaching in youth groups, church services, and Bible Schools since 1994. He developed and served as Dean of a church bible school from 2009-2017, and became the Head of RBC UK & Ireland in 2019.
In 2020 Toby and Michele planted His Life Church in South London which they pastor together and in March 2022 they took on the role of Directors for RHEMA UK & Ireland.
Toby Avery graduated from RHEMA USA in 1996 and is ordained through Rhema Ministerial Association International and Michele graduated from RHEMA UK & Ireland in 2022.
Together they love serving God, their 3 kids, their dog Peppa and coffee!

International Directors for Europe
John and Michelle Grunewald have ministered in churches, bible schools, and seminars in America, Europe, and Africa with an emphasis on the authority of the believer, faith, prayer, leadership, and finding and fulfilling your purpose in the earth for the kingdom of God.
They have a passion for building the church and everything that building encompasses; getting people saved, establishing them in the truth of God’s Word, training them in the truth and practical application of spreading the Gospel, and then positioning them to bear fruit in the kingdom of God.
They currently reside in London, England and serve as the International Directors of RHEMA Europe, Africa, Middle East and are the Directors of RHEMA Germany, Norway, and Poland. They are also the founding Pastors of RHEMA Bible Church Bonn, Germany. They have three children, Zack, Spencer and Gabrielle.
